Company SummaryAutoLogic is a globally-known, industry leader in designing and producing highly advanced automotive aftermarket diagnostic equipment and software. We blend new technologies such as hand-held computer products with diagnostic equipment and successfully market the end results. AutoLogic is the first diagnostic company to recognize the viability of the Pocket PC to power a complete diagnostic platform and to commercially produce a true Pocket PC -based portable gas analyzer, back in 1998. Since then, AutoLogic has earned national recognition for its use of the Pocket PC platform in producing its Pocket Diagnostic product line. AutoLogic was founded in 1993 by engineers from Snap-On Inc, SPX Corporation, and the former Bear Automotive Emissions engineering group. After years of resolving hardware problems for our distributors in equipment purchased from other vendors, these same engineers expanded AutoLogic's early focus on pure software development into full-fledged manufacturing of their own technologically-advanced diagnostic equipment. AutoLogic's more recent focus involves large scale OEM product development at very low investment costs as well as development of a series of advanced technology products and consulting centered on improving profitability of the automotive service facility. Many companies involved in shipping hardware and software based technology equipment experience excessive costs in supporting and servicing software and hardware following product release. AutoLogic designs equipment and solutions to help eliminate these costs and reduce the amount of support required after the sale. The foundation of this approach is a modular software design that utilizes multiple hardware pieces instead of centering on one hardware piece. This is complimented through AutoLogic's manufacturing and in-house equipment services capabilities. Our quality commitment continues throughout the entire manufacturing process where extensive testing procedures are used to produce extremely-reliable, field-tested products. We are able to handle the complete product development cycle from concept all the way through to manufacturing. AutoLogic is a very stable, privately-held company with positive cash flow, no outstanding debt, and plenty of capital necessary to cover expenses, cash flow, and research and development needs. Below is a brief summary of some of AutoLogic's leading projects: South America. AutoLogic provides hardware and software for South America's emissions testing programs, typically BAR90 / BAR97, two-speed idle tests also involving diesel and safety equipment. AutoLogic functions as engineering and systems integrator, tackling the challenging aspects of translating software specifications into usable systems while controlling costs. Cars in South America often operate without catalytic converters which required the development of heavy-duty gas and diesel testing equipment that would survive hot, humid environments. Europe. As systems integrator, AutoLogic provides hardware and software for combination emissions and safety testing lanes. These lanes include gas, smoke, headlight, sound, suspension, alignment, weight, and visual inspections. The European products require comprehensive equipment analysis since a multitude of poorer quality gas analyzers and smoke meters are available. Since each country has its own unique set of regulations, AutoLogic creates complex software and hardware solutions, most of which required certification such as the CE mark, a critical issue for the European market. Canada. AutoLogic functions as systems integrator for several manufacturers in Canada with products including Bar97 dynamometer controllers, RPM modules, Bar97 ASM testing software, and US-specified J1667 smoke meters. AutoLogic creates dynamometer software modules for running loaded mode tests including driving profiles. Far East. Partnering with one of the world's largest emissions testing manufacturers, AutoLogic serves as systems integrator, providing all software and various hardware modules for their emissions testing in China. This gives AutoLogic experience implementing far eastern languages in software and also experience in helping identify a potential market for the right diagnostic equipment there. United States. AutoLogic was the first U.S. company to launch a PDA-based product line, beginning with Pocket PC -based diesel smoke meter (Pocket Smoke) followed by a portable gas analyzer (Pocket Gas) and OBD II module (Pocket OBD). iShop Task Force. AutoLogic is a Technical Representative member of the iShop Integration Task Force ( www.ishopstandards.org ). iShop is working on standardizing how different diagnostic devices in the automotive shop environment communicate with each other. AutoLogic's software and systems coordination capabilities play a vital role in helping national equipment suppliers, retailers, and manufacturers understand, adopt, and conform to the standards. AutoLogic is a long-standing member of the AAIA, which also works to write common standards for parts ordering and vehicle identification. Current ProductsPocket Smoke ™ PDA based diesel smoke meter

Current ServicesAutoLogic provides complete product and software development for US and International companies. We do it at a cost that satisfies almost any budget.
Partnership Development Program - In this program AutoLogic makes the investment to develop the product or software. This can include all aspects of the product from development to manufacturing. This means an engineering budget is not required from you. When the project is complete, it is marketed and sold by your company. We will manufacture the product at our facility or we will work hand in hand with your manufacturing company to produce the product. We get paid only when you sell the product. We all benefit from the partnership. Typical consultants or overseas consulting firms still require payment, even if they do a poor job. Or they are unable to support the product once it is released. In the Partnership Development Program , we have a vested interest in the success of the product, both before it is introduced and after it is manufactured. Traditional consulting - We offer complete traditional consulting or also offer a mix of manufacturing and traditional consulting to keep your up-front costs low. Are you considering low cost overseas consulting? Let us manage it for you. We help guide you through the intellectual property issues and manage the project with a small mix of our own development. This model gives you lower cost and your risk is minimized with the modular design and project oversight by AutoLogic. Capabilities and Experience
