Applus+ AutoLogic Inc. is a leading supplier of automotive diagnostic and vehicle emissions inspection products throughout the world.  Applus+ AutoLogic Inc. has all product design and manufacturing facilities located in Sussex, Wisconsin, U.S.A.
Applus+ AutoLogic Inc. is a Wisconsin corporation formed in August 2006 when AutoLogic LLC was acquired by Applus+ Inc. which also owns Applus+ Technologies Inc. The sister companies of Applus+ AutoLogic Inc. and Applus+ Technologies provide a suite of powerful new equipment and solutions for certified vehicle emissions testing and vehicle diagnostics.

AutoLogic LLC
AutoLogic LLC was originally founded in 1993, and rapidly became a globally-known industry leader in designing and producing highly advanced automotive aftermarket diagnostic equipment and software. Applus+ AutoLogic Inc. continues this technology leadership. Applus+ AutoLogic Inc. also provides custom product development services covering every aspect of the product development cycle from concept realization to manufacture.

AutoLogic LLC was the first diagnostic company to recognize the viability of the Pocket PC and the Palm Pilot (PDAs) as complete diagnostic platforms, and AutoLogic LLC was the first to produce a true commercial Pocket PC-based portable gas analyzer. Since that time, AutoLogic LLC has earned national recognition for its use of the Pocket PC platform in producing the Pocket Diagnostic™ product line. AutoLogic LLC has produced a whole series of vehicle diagnostic products using Windows PCs and Pocket PCs. In addition AutoLogic LLC provides OBD II and vehicle emission testing equipment for use in emissions testing programs in both US and international markets.

Our sister company, Applus+ Technologies, Inc., is located in Chicago, Illinois and complements AutoLogic’s extensive product offering with the ability to provide the management of complete vehicle inspection programs.  Applus+ Technologies’ focus includes:

History
Applus+ AutoLogic Inc.employees include engineers with previous experience from Snap-On Inc, SPX Corporation, and the former Bear Automotive Emissions engineering group.  After years of resolving hardware problems for our distributors in equipment purchased from other vendors, these same engineers expanded their early focus on pure software development into full-fledged manufacturing of their own technologically advanced diagnostic equipment. 

Applus+ AutoLogic Inc. is now a globally-known, industry leader in designing and producing highly advanced automotive aftermarket diagnostic equipment and software.  We blend new technologies such as hand-held computer products with diagnostic equipment and successfully market the end results. 

Many companies involved in shipping hardware and software based technology equipment experience excessive costs in supporting and servicing software and hardware following product release. Applus+ AutoLogic Inc.designs equipment and solutions to help eliminate these costs and reduce the amount of support required after the sale.  The foundation of this approach is a modular software design that utilizes multiple hardware pieces instead of centering on one hardware piece.  This is complemented through Applus+ AutoLogic Inc.'s manufacturing and in-house equipment services capabilities.
Our quality commitment continues throughout the entire manufacturing process where extensive testing procedures are used to produce extremely reliable, field-tested products. We are able to handle the complete product development cycle from concept all the way through manufacturing.

		South America Applus+ AutoLogic provides hardware and software for South America’s emissions testing programs, typically BAR90/BAR97, two-speed idle tests also involving diesel and safety equipment. AutoLogic functions as engineering and systems integrator, tackling the challenging aspects of translating software specifications into usable systems while controlling costs. Cars in South America often operate without catalytic converters which required the development of heavy-duty gas and diesel testing equipment that would survive hot, humid environments.
		Europe As systems integrator, Applus+ AutoLogic Inc. provides hardware and software for combination emissions and safety testing lanes. These lanes include gas, smoke, headlight, sound, suspension, alignment, weight, and visual inspections. The European products require comprehensive equipment analysis since a multitude of poorer quality gas analyzers and smoke meters are available. Since each country has its own unique set of regulations,Applus+ AutoLogic Inc. creates complex software and hardware solutions, most of which required certification such as the CE mark, a critical issue for the European market.
		Canada Applus+ AutoLogic Inc. functions as systems integrator for several manufacturers in Canada with products including BAR97 dynamometer controllers, RPM modules, BAR97 ASM testing software, and US-specified J1667 smoke meters. Applus+ AutoLogic Inc. creates dynamometer software modules for running loaded mode tests including driving profiles.
		Far East Partnering with one of the world’s largest emissions testing manufacturers, Applus+ AutoLogic Inc. serves as systems integrator, providing all software and various hardware modules for their emissions testing in China. This gives Applus+ AutoLogic Inc. experience implementing far eastern languages in software and also experience in helping identify a potential market for the right diagnostic equipment there.
		United States Applus+ AutoLogic Inc. was the first U.S. company to launch a PDA-based product line, beginning with Pocket PC-based diesel smoke meter (Pocket Smoke™) followed by a portable gas analyzer (Pocket Gas™) and OBDII module (Pocket OBD™).
