AutoBlue is a revolutionary tool for wireless communications used in automotive repair shops. With AutoBlue, a rs232 diagnostic device may be connected directly to the vehicle while the technician can be working under the hood with NO WIRES ATTACHED. With no cumbersome wires connected to the display, the technicians repair is much easier as he/she can move freely around the vehicle.

AutoBlue is specifically designed to work with existing automotive diagnostic equipment that is not wireless, and enables them to become wireless. This eliminates the nuisance of dragging around wires tied to a PC or Pocket PC.

Wireless Gas Analyzer

The picture at the top of this page shows AutoBlue in action. In this picture, an Applus+ Autologic Inc. Pocket Gas ^TM unit is being used with a HP IPAQ Pocket PC with built in Bluetooth communications. The Pocket PC has no wires connected to the gas analyzer. This is a tremendous breakthrough in ease of use for automotive diagnostic testing. The gas analyzer can sit at the back of the car or in the trunk of the vehicle while the Pocket PC display can be used in the drivers compartment or underneath the hood. The technician can make adjustments while watching them on the display. With AutoBlue, Applus+ AutoLogic's gas analyzers can be used with almost any Bluetooth enabled PC, Pocket PC or laptop PC. This includes both Pocket PC based gas analyzers and PC based gas analyzers.

Wireless OBD II

AutoBlue may also be used in conjunction with the Applus+ Autologic Pocket OBD ^TM product line to make for a brand new way of diagnosing OBD II equipped vehicles. Connect AutoBlue to the OBD II hardware interface included with all Pocket OBD ^TM products and now connect to the vehicle. Once connected, the OBD II signal is broadcast and may be seen on any Bluetooth enabled Pocket PC. With AutoBlue, the technician may now make adjustments under the hood of the vehicle while monitoring the OBD II signal with a Pocket PC. Available NOW on AutoLogic OBD II products.
